Weekend review

It's Monday again, time for another weekend review! 

Friday was GORGEOUS. We all woke up rather early to join a good friend at his reenlistment. So glad we got to share such a special moment with him and his family. After the ceremony we joined Chance's old division for a few games of bowling. B was awesome and even got to bowl a few frames. Before heading home we checked out a new park. It wasn't packed which I love. B ended up meeting a couple little girls and they chased each other for what seemed like hours. When it was time to go he didntt fight at all. He was so awesome!

Friday night we finally made pretzels again. The dough wouldn't cooperatr so we made different shaped pretzels. They turned out amazing once again.

Saturday morning the local car club (757illest) hosted a car show and of course we were there. B was way more interested in the playground than the cars this time. He was extremely upset when it was time to leave. After his nap we walked down the street to our neighbor's to play in their bounce house. The kids ended up ditching it for bikes and battery operated cars. They were obsessed. Saturday night we joined our friends for a pizza night in. The kids were wild but grown up time is precious. 

Yesterday was Chance's duty day. We spent our day indoors watching the rain. We did get to use our Audrey diaper finally. Yes, B is a boy wearing a girly diaper... get over it! 

We also enjoyed one of B's favorite meals, mac n cheese and hot dogs. When Chance has duty cooking for one and a half doesn't make sense so we get a little treat. B was thrilled to have mac n cheese!

Overall it was another lazy weekend in Hampton roads. Hopefully our weather will pick up and we can spend more time outdoors.
