Today I spent my first thanksgiving (and my and Mr.Copeland's 20 month!! Wahoo!) away from my home and family.
Mr.Copeland has duty so we woke bright and early to get to the ship for his first watch that he ended up getting swapped. We spent out day playing life with the boys in sonar one and just watching the next great baker. I must say dinner was what I expected from a ship. It was just ok food but it was with my love. The power went out while we were getting our food so they went into a security alert which was quite awkward. One of my highlights today was having to find someone to take me to the potty since Mr.Copeland isn't allowed in the girl berthing. That was quite hilarious. I ended up getting another surprise today as well but that one is a secret.
Overall my thanksgiving was a new experience but I realize it's something I needed. I love my family and I missed them terribly but Mr.Copeland had no one to spend his day with... I'm gonna be here for him no matter what. I'm thankful for him as well as my family and everything I have in my life.

Pointless day;
It was such a lazy Saturday for me. I'd have to say the highlight was buying a cheap green polo that matches Mr.Copelands or learning about a new club in Pensacola.
I went to the mall with the good ole 60 year old today. We shopped a ton and ate olive garden :) oh how I love me some fattening pasta!!!
I ended up coming home quite early only to find out Miami lost :( but Oregon won so go duckies!!!
Listened to most of the top 100 on iTunes and picked out which ones I just had to download... Put my sissy on that mission :)
See, boring day all together. I'm missing my man like crazy tonight and have to keep constantly reminding myself that I have 5 days until I'm with him for a good while. Can't wait to be in Norfolk!!!!! I really watch machismos, and to dance on my boy, and to have my first thanksgiving on the USS Mahan.... Yes I AM spending my thanksgiving on the boat because it happens to be the only day my sweetie has duty the whole time I'm there... You think we're lucky? Oh I would only agree. I'll miss black Friday shopping but I'll b happily asleep waiting for my little sailor to come home to me :) or should I say come barracks room to me? Aha.
