4 months;

My sweet sweet little man is 4 months today!!

Time flys by so fast when you have a little one. It seems like just yesterday I was birthing this sweet little boy!

B is such a joy! He giggles and just loves when you mimic him. He's always talking and singing at us. He looks for mommy and daddy and cries when were not close! His favorite thing in the world is to swing. He swings with his paci and seahorse (suggested by the wonderful Toni) and goes straight to sleep. He also loves his feet and Roscoe. He tries to grab Roscoe's mustache and laughs when Roscoe licks him.

He's definitely our little ray of sunshine. He still has bad reflux though. I have elected to stop the medicine. It makes him spit up more and doesn't do a thing to help the poor guy. Breast feeding has actually gotten harder. He screams at the breast 75% of the time. This results in a lot of tears and stress. I hate having to result to a bottle but I know my little guy has to eat!

If anyone has any tips on dealing with the reflux and fussiness is be so happy to hear it!

We're in the homestretch;

That's right. Baby Brantley has roughly five weeks until we can meet him.

How am I feeling at 35 weeks?
Miserable.

The only thing I've even considered a craving is slurpees, icees, and slushed. We've gotten one everyday this week because I can't seem to get enough.

My body aches everywhere! My right leg cramps like crazy and my back has been in soooo much pain!

Everyone has said I'm still little for 35 weeks so maybe I'll have a sweet LITTLE boy instead of a massive chunk ;)

We haven't been doing to much. Tuesday PETA fixed military animals for $4. I took baby puppy and he's been a bit sluggish ever since. He's gotten better everyday but he still isn't my hyper puppy.

We spent our pre-4th partying at Chance's friends house and on our actually 4th we stayed in most of the day. We did manage to get out to see fireworks at Mt. trashmore. What would normally be a 15 minute ride home took us an hour with all the crazy VA traffic. We seen a wreck and a boy get snatched out of the car by a cop. It was a crazy night!

Yesterday we hit First Landing state park for a nice swim. I love that beach more then any other around here! We also got around to painting a mural on Brantley's wall. So glad my husband could help with it!

Today I'm cleaning house. I have a massive amount of laundry and dishes to clean :/ I've procrastinated and my mon flies in tomorrow! She's staying until Monday and then we're off to FL! I can't wait!

We also did a little maternity shoot :) soooo much fun<3 BLP photography is amazing!

Yard sales;

I have become obsessed with yard sales and trips to the local thrift stores. I never seem to find any items around here for me but I've got Brantley nearly clothes for 18 months of his life. Still trying to get 3-9 months clothes but in stocked on everything else.

Really proud of myself because I know toddler clothes are so expensive and they literally wear things once.

Chance has been underway since Monday and it's making for a very long week. Life's a bit bored without him here. The weather has also been so nice, this means we're missing a lot of outing withs the puppy.

Tomorrow I have a lunch date with my neighbor and her husband. A bit nervous about this since the first group of girls I met weren't the best bunch to be hanging out with. Hope this one works out because she's literally across are back patio!

Crafty mommy;

When Chance is gone there isn't much else to do but craft.

Yesterday I went and downloaded some Michael's coupons and got some great deals on canvas and picked up a few more bottles of paint. I'll reveal my canvas work when it's all done! Super excited to put it in Brant's nursery!

I also found a really cheap stripped onsie that reminded me of baseball. What would I do with this...? Make a Braves onsie of course :) our little man is definitely going to be an all American sports loving boy. I'm a big football fan as well as baseball and Chance is trying to get into my football spirit! He's more of the car guy (this does NOT mean the redneck NASCAR sport... I can't deal with cars going around in ovals on a pavement track, no fun wrecks or anything!).

After my post about little Roscoe puppy's shark teeth he has managed to get one out! Now his mouth looks even more funny. He's been trying to chew on our hands so much! Poor thing is teething!

Did I mention I'm 27 weeks today!!! Just three months until our due date!!! I found such a sweet inspiring poem about stretch marks and baby today. So cute!

Merry Christmas everyone! I know it's a bit late but that's how I roll!

This past week has literally been something else. I've had a bf, fiancé, and now a husband. That's right I am finally Samantha Jo Copeland :)

So excited to hear that last name! There's still a ton of stuff left to change and what not but I'll get around to changing it pretty soon. In about two weeks I'll be in Norfolk with my love again. We'll have our apartment and have our new life started. Got my miniature schnauzer for Christmas :) he's a little doll! But on top of that responsibility I also have my baby on the way. I can not wait to find out what it is so we can start stocking up on things :)

We're proud little parents right now :) life is so amazing.
