such a good pick me up;

Lets just say yesterday wasn't exactly what I had hoped for. It was such long hours with the Navy. Even though that was a HUGE negative I still got a nice little surprise from my husband :)

He actually got to come home for about 30 minutes in the middle of the day. Roscoe was so happy to see his daddy. All good things must come to an end though, Chance had to go back to work which only made the little puppy stand at the door and whine for quite some time.

Finally at 10:40 Chance walked in the door and we got to have super late night pizza. I hate that the Navy kept him so late but today is rumored to be an early day and Monday a day off so we will see how that goes.

The great pick me up of the whole night of course came from my husband. While laying in bed i just had some questions floating in my mind. Chance and I don't really have serious conversations much because we don't need them and thats not the style of us. As we were lying there i just had to inquire as to if he was really a happy married man. As always he joked that he was forced to marry me but finally came clean about being so happy. We began discussing our baby and he expressed how happy he was that we're pregnant even if it wasn't what we had wanted at the time. It's nice to know he is excited for our bean. I guess with all my questions he began to wonder and have some of his own. He asked if I was excited and I replied yes. He ended up questioning that because I sounded apprehensive... of course I am though... I explained to him how scared I was and how I of all people should be prepared and ready to have a child. He's scared too and he knows we're going to be raising a baby, theres more then just us now.

Needless to say our talk last night really helps to brighten my days. I just want to know that my husband is happy with our position in life and that everything will be ok. He's the best man I could ask for and God really knew we were meant to be. I'm one happy girlie.
