Snow!

Last Tuesday I experienced snow for the first time. It was cold and way to slippery for me. It took almost a week for the small amount to melt. When I'm finally feeling relief and the weather is at 65, snow pops back up in our forecast. Last night we got a pile of snow! We were said to get anywhere between six and ten inches, we ended up with eightish. The sad part is the snow is going to continue through Thursday.

B is obsessed with it. He cries at the door to go out. It's so cold and he can't walk in it. Poor Roscoe isn't a fan this time either. We had to dig a path in the backyard just so he would go out and pee. The snow is so incredibly powdery that we can't build a snow or throw snow balls. It just blows away all delicate like. It's incredibly blinding and glittery. We've talked about getting out tomorrow and finding a hill to sled down. It's so flat here and the one man made hill we have is illegal to sled down.

There is an upside to it all, Chance didn't have to work today and I doubt he'll have to tomorrow. They're plowing all the roads but there is still ice. People here drive like idiots so I can only pray they stay safe through out this week.
