Baby Copeland;

Monday i happen to make my first trip to my new OB/GYN. It's always a bit nerve wreaking to have to find a new doctor, I for one HATE the stree that comes with it all. On the bright side, I finally got to hear my little babies heart beat! At the time I got to hear it it was beating at 158/min. I've read some rumors about how girls have higher heart beats and boys stay low in the 140s. The appointment went well until the end when i had to give blood, I gave literally 10 test tubes! I was so tired of watching the lady change the test tube, I was miserable.

I think the best surprise of the day was this:



Chance and I got to see our baby for the first time. Chance's face was so memorable. His eyes got huge and his mouth fell open, it was almost like an OMG thats really a baby in my wife's tummy. The babies heart beat had slowed down and was now at 140. It took forever to find it because our little jelly bean is a "Mexican jumping bean" according to Chance. It's a little wiggle worm. It was so nice to know our baby is growing fine and to finally figure out our due date and how far along I really am. The little bean is due August 8th. I can not wait until we can know what we have!




I think the baby has my nose, it has a turn up on the end just like mine. It also has longer legs like mine but seems to have Chance's long torso and his BIG lips if you zoom in on the picture. I'm hoping it comes out as a perfect mix of the two of us... what more could I hope for?
