Thanksgiving; home away from home

Today I spent my first thanksgiving (and my and Mr.Copeland's 20 month!! Wahoo!) away from my home and family.

Mr.Copeland has duty so we woke bright and early to get to the ship for his first watch that he ended up getting swapped. We spent out day playing life with the boys in sonar one and just watching the next great baker. I must say dinner was what I expected from a ship. It was just ok food but it was with my love. The power went out while we were getting our food so they went into a security alert which was quite awkward. One of my highlights today was having to find someone to take me to the potty since Mr.Copeland isn't allowed in the girl berthing. That was quite hilarious. I ended up getting another surprise today as well but that one is a secret.

Overall my thanksgiving was a new experience but I realize it's something I needed. I love my family and I missed them terribly but Mr.Copeland had no one to spend his day with... I'm gonna be here for him no matter what. I'm thankful for him as well as my family and everything I have in my life.
