While driving down the road I spotted a car with a million bumper stickers. As I inched my way closer I realized they were all downing Democrats and saying things such as Democrats use more welfare and other things. Of course these were only opinions meant to piss people off.
I wanted to know if Democrats really used more welfare so I sat down during class and started my search.
What I found made me feel more confident on my choosing as an American. Democrats are more prevalent in America which would make sense as to why they use more welfare. This would make the bumper stickers true however I also read that the Republicans basically came up with this welfare and strongly supported it in 1996. They all outsourced jobs leaving many people unemployed. After reading this it made me think about how much of an idiot some Americans can be. If you don't look up your facts and know them all you are left with an unsupported opinion. It makes me giggle that the people in this car were Republicans yet were pissed about welfare that their Republican party came up with.
I'm a proud Democrat no netter what anyone says. It's my views and living in the south only makes it harder to express these views.
